*We want you to drop in and take the Yoga class that meets your needs on that day.
*You DO have a choice at SWO Yoga - our classes will be taught to the declared intensity level instead of one size fits all.

If you are new to Yoga, but ACTIVELY FIT, any class is applicable. The Gentle Flow or Vinyasa Flow - all levels classes would be a
good first exposure into the concept of moving while doing yoga.
**Please do not attend the Vinyasa Flow if you are pregnant or cannot do the multiple pushups which are part of a Sun Salutation or do not like a warmer (74-77 Degrees) yoga practice environment.
If you are a little out of touch with your body and are looking for more of a body awareness class, please make it a good experience by taking the Body Awareness or Hatha Yoga class.
The Gentle Flow class is the bridge between a Body Awareness and Vinyasa Flow class. -------------------------------------------------------- Another measuring stick in the Yoga world is Sun Salutations - here is what you can expect in each class - minimum.
Body Awareness - No Sun Salutations
Gentle Flow 1 Sun "A", 1 Lunge Back Sun and 1 Sun "B"
Vinyasa Flow - 3 Sun "A" and 2 Sun"B"
Hatha - may or may not have Sun Salutations as an element. ------------------------------------------------------
Vinyasa Flow
Come to this class ready to move and be moved, expect a dynamic blend of postures, transitions and sequences with a focus on breath and movement. Each unique class represents a wide variety of yogic styles which are integrated to create a balanced, creative and fun experience.
If you are new to yoga and have a good level of fitness, any regular Vinyasa Flow class would be a good place to start.
Note - I will try to create a warmer environment by closing the A/C vents to try and get to 74-77 Degrees for practice.
Body Awareness - All Levels
Tired of Sun Salutations? Using creative teaching tools like straps, blocks, bolsters and walls, this class is designed to not use Sun Salutations. Deepen your existing practice or have a great first experience without stressing your body. A great body awareness and yogic based deep stretching class for any reasonable level of fitness. A great chance to attune yourself to your body and work out its issues.
Hatha - All Levels
A gentle flowing series of poses designed to strengthen, tone and stretch the physical body. This all levels class will focus on Proper Breathing, Alignment, Mental Centering and Relaxation as a means to open the Body and Mind.
Gentle Flow - All Levels
This is a hybrid mix of a Non-Vinyasa class with only a couple of Sun Salutations tossed in.This is a great first class for a student with a decent level of fitness. Great for any Yoga student who would like a practice modified for their issues. *Reasonable Fitness Levels can do this class.
Meditation/Pranayama -All Levels
Nourish
yourself body, mind and spirit with this meditation/breath work class.
Expand the quality and experience of your yoga practice by developing
breath awareness. We will conduct simple yogic breathing techniques
(pranayama) to calm the mind, manage stress, and experience a blissful
heart through meditation. The techniques may also be used to speed up
recovery after an illness, accident or injury. The meditation methods
will assist you in enhancing self-healing abilities and in empowering
yourself to raise to higher levels of consciousness.
