Anne brings her passion for balanced living to the teaching
of basic yoga. She experienced first-hand
how making the connection between movement and mind through yoga can help to
manage stress, build a stronger body and positive attitude. Plus, you can enjoy
life more everyday!
Anne believes it is important to be strong and stay
strong. You must be prepared mentally
and physically to handle life’s ups and downs.
She has practiced yoga for nearly 14 years and has
received her 200-hour teacher training certification from Yoga Alliance.
Sue began practicing six years ago while recovering from a
running injury. Years of running and high impact workouts resulted in chronic knee and hip pain, and a physical therapist recommended yoga to help with
recovery.
Sue discovered that mindful breathing, stretching, and
mind/body/spirit connection not only helped heal her injuries, but also
enhanced her overall workout regimen. She decided to obtain her certification
in order to share her love for yoga with others.
Sue's all-levels classes emphasize linking breath with
movement to create an invigorating and balanced experience.

Yoga Teachers Mission Statement (in rhyme) by Gerry Lishin
Within a nurturing space, absent of slight, aloving place with neither wrong nor right.
I will guide my students out of bodily plight, illuminating any darkness with my knowledge and light.
I will remove from my students’ bodies too tight, and hope to leave within them a Heart of delight.
I will speak all encouragements both positive and bright, while creating classes in which the Spirit takes flight.
I will stay true to the essence of this that I write, whileexploring my own path between ignorance and insight.
Mind, Body and Spirit is what I will strive to unite, withthe enduring flame of Passion that Ihope to ignite.
This I will do, with memories of my Teachers glowing abright, until my life’s final journey into that long goodnight.
